Hi, my name is Kirro, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart and a hopeful spirit.
Last May, I moved across the country—from West Virginia to Washington state—so that my autistic child could get the care and support they need. The move was sudden and difficult. We had to give up almost everything, and in the rush, I left my beloved cats in the care of a trusted friend with the plan to bring them to me once we were settled.
I’ve tried three times to make that trip back to bring them home—but each time, something’s come up: medical expenses, housing costs, or simply not enough to cover the flight and transport. Now, time has run out. My friend can no longer keep them, and unless I can get the funds together soon, my cats will be rehomed. Losing them after everything we’ve already given up would be heartbreaking.
These cats are not just pets—they're part of our family. They've been with us through so many ups and downs, and they mean the world to both me and my kid.
I’m not the kind of person who asks for help easily, but I’m desperate. I’m trying to raise enough to cover airfare, pet transport supplies, and any travel-related costs to bring my cats safely back to us here in Washington.
Funds will be used for airfare, hotel stays if needed or paying someone to drive them to where I am.
If you’re able to donate, share, or just send a kind word, it would mean everything to me. Thank you so much for reading and for any support you can offer.
