Hey, my name is Caleb Patterson. Those of you who already know me know that I wouldn’t be creating one of these if it wasn’t my last resort. I don’t want this to be seen as us looking for a hand out, but a hand up… My mom has been in pretty bad health for a while, but took a turn for the worst this week. She is on a ventilator, and it doesn’t look good. Her mind is there, but her heart is weak which is causing her other organs to be weak. We don’t know if she will ever come out of it, or if she does come out of it how long she will have with us. My dad is the only one in their household that works. He takes care of her, and my little sister who is in college. I live 2 and a half hours away, and I do everything I can to help with my family, but it’s not enough. My mom was on state insurance, but they kicked her off and repoed (yes repoed) her oxygen tanks she was on because they said my dad makes too much money, which is absolutely false. The donation goal is just random. We need as much as possible for medical bills, and regular life expenses because my dad and I are temporarily stepping away from work to take care of my mom and our family.
