Help me leave the wheelchair behind

My name is Paolo Guccione and I am an IT consultant and sometimes a game author. In October 2020 I suffered a stroke that blocked the left half of my body. Luckily, the doctors say I can recover with rehabilitation therapy. It will take months but I am not a person who gives up in the face of difficulties, as you can see. However, resolve alone cannot fix everything. Public healthcare covers basic rehabilitation protocols, but extra expenses beyond normal living costs are inevitable to integrate the core rehab, and my reduced ability to work cuts my revenues as a freelance without paid sick leave. Public subsidies will eventually kick in, but this will take months because of bureaucratic times and the Covid-19 emergency.

All this means I will experience “life support shortages” by the end of 2020 or early 2021, just when my health would require a stable living environment. I could really use some material support to overcome this crisis and leave the wheelchair behind as a bad memory. You can contribute by donating, as well as sharing a link to the campaign.
