Hello, my name is Judy Salinas and I am fundraising for my beautiful aunt, Liz Ayala who is currently battling cancer. My aunt Liz is an amazing stay at home mother (that was told could never have kids) and she has a miracle little boy that is 5 years old. She is the youngest sibling of five brothers. She is only 42 years old, and growing up together she used to play Barbie dolls with me and was such a great friend to me, even though she was my aunt.

This May 2022, she went to the ER for severe leg pain and they did all the testing to rule out a blood clot, to only discover cancer in her leg, her liver, and her kidney. We were all devastated to discover this.

She began radiation for her leg last week, and her oncologist quoted her medical treatments to be $6,000 a month. Her spouse has missed so much of his work as well to ensure he is there for all of her appointments. We wanted to create this Go Fund me so her and her husband’s focus can be on her well being and it can relieve her financial burden.

In spite of the diagnosis, not being able to eat, having constant excruciating leg pain, losing 75 lbs in two months, my aunt has been holding onto hope and faith and asking God for more time with her son and husband. When we went to pray with her, her prayer was that God would use her pain and suffering and perseverance to inspire others to not give up. She said if Job in the Bible can do it, then she’s believing she can too!
