-March 2024 UPDATE-
In January Justin was released to go back to work - it was a wonderful feeling being able to have a sense of normality and not worry about medical bills or just life. We both loved being us again working and feeling a sense of purpose. Mid February his CT/MRI scans came back glowing that cancer had returned in his mass but just a very very small section was active. Unfortunately this time the cancer went an attacked inside his ears, which has resulted in rapid hearing loss. He is having extreme amounts of radiation to his ears, head and chest. Sadly, due to him being terminal this is the new way of life, and we hate that the cancer decided to return but he continues to be faithful to God and not give up. We ask for continued prayers of strength for Justin and myself, for the precious medical staff who works daily to keep him here and for both of our mental health states. Justin continues to be his funny self, he stays positive all the time and it’s absolutely incredible to watch him daily thrive and fight. The looks on people’s faces when the hear what he is facing but you wouldn’t know, its absolutely incredible. He’s my hero. We can’t begin to express our gratitude and thanks for the out powering of love, meals, kind gestures, gifts, prayers and just people checking in on us. GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME!!!!!!
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts

On April 6, 2023 our lives were forever changed; Justin was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic lung cancer, which has spread through out his body and into his brain. He has been in-an-out of the hospital for a month and the doctors finally have a treatment plan of chemotherapy and targeted radiation for the coming months. His journey isn’t going to be easy but we know God is with Justin every step of the way and will keep His arms around him daily. We have a MASSIVE ARMY OF LOVE supporting and praying for him every minute of each day which brings peace to us both. We have been together 3 years and will celebrate out 1st wedding anniversary on October 15, 2023. Not the ideal newly-wed life someone could foresee but Justin is a strong willed, stubborn man an he doesn’t give up on anything. He WILL KICK CANCERS BUTT!
Due to the stage, I am his full-time care giver and have taken time off of work myself. Of course Justin isn’t working either so finances are terrifying when the future is full of doctors appointments, tests, medications and treatments to get him healthy again. This GoFundMe is to help with bills, groceries and just this new way of life. We thank everyone who has already done something for us, wether it be big or small. We can’t begin to express our gratitude for the prayers, cards, meals and kind messages we have both received. It gives us great comfort to know we have such a large army of love praying for us both. God is in control and will continue to guide the doctors, nurses and keep Justin comfortable.
Please continue to pray for Justin and I as we navigate this. We love you all. Thank you and God bless.
