If you’ve spent time at the Broadmoor World Arena or the Pikes Peak Center, there’s a good chance you’ve met Suzy and Charlie. They were a familiar team, often working side by side in parking, guest services, and as stagehands. Suzy began working here in 2006, and Charlie joined in 2019. From that point on, it was rare to see one without the other.

On February 27, 2025 a tragic workplace accident took Charlie’s life, leaving Suzie, his family, and our entire community at BWA and PPC heartbroken. The outpouring of sympathy, prayers, and kind thoughts has meant so much during this incredibly difficult time.

As we grieve, we also recognize the financial burden that comes with such a sudden loss. In addition to your continued prayers and support, any donations are deeply appreciated to help ease the strain on Suzie and honor Charlie’s memory.
