LETS HELP ACQUIRE 1,250,000 SURGICAL MASKS FOR THE HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONALS ON THE FRONT LINE OF THE CORONAVIRUS!
HI My name is Lily Fan. I am a theater and documentary film producer and also a part-time commissioner at the New York State Liquor Authority. New York State has the highest number of COVID-19 cases in the US, and many many more people are sick with symptoms at home. Heroic medical professionals are being advised to use makeshift scarfs to protect themselves on the front line because New York is severely short on masks and other medical supplies. Doctors and nurses are reportedly fighting each other for clean surgical masks. Our medical professionals are front line soldiers in this war against a pandemic. If they fall, no one will take care of those who have been and will get sick. They should not have to fight each other for survival.
Months ago, I started sourcing medical supplies to assist the COVID-19 relief efforts in Asia. I have relationships to acquire more but need additional resources. Please give generously so we can get these masks to the front line. Each $1 you donate can buy 2-3 surgical masks. N95's are $6-7 each in today's market. Your donation will be fully tax-deductible.
