Prosthetic Hand Project; Grand Nationals

Hello Everyone,

We are students of Leander High School, Leander tx. For the past 5 months, we have been engaged in the SkillsUSA Competition. We are building a prosthetic hand for a 2 year old boy named Zaxton who was born without the middle three fingers on his left hand.

We have built several prototypes now, and continue to grow our expertise in orthopedics and are coming closer and closer to our goal of giving Zaxton a hand in which he will love fully and use effeciently.

We have won first place at both our District and State level competitions, and are now going to compete in Grand Nationals in Kansas City.

The trip, however, cannot be covered by School District funds alone. We are needing roughly $850 per team mate, totaling  around $2700.00 We are not able to afford the trip at this moment, and need assisstance. If you are able to help, we would greatly appreciate any donations you can give.
