On the 8th of July 2021 we received the sad news that our grandpa Ahmed Diriiye passed away. He was the best grandpa we can wish for. A loving and caring father, brother, and grandpa. For that we want to raise money to build a water well in a needed country under he’s name.
Offering water to drink is the best form of charity and is a means of forgiveness of sins. Whoever seeks for forgiveness shall give others water to drink.
Ibn-e-Abbas (رضي الله عنه) was asked, “What form of the charity is best?”
He said, ” Giving water to drink.”
Prophet Muhammad (صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّم) said: “Whoever digs a well, no thirsty soul will drink from it whether it be a human, jinn or bird, except that Allah will reward him on the day of Judgement.”
As soon as the full donation amount has been raised we will be breaking the cost and providing detailed descriptions of the proceeds.
May Allah (swt) have mercy on our grandpa’s soul. May He the Most Merciful grant him Jannatul Firdaws Al-A’laa. May Allah (swt) widen his grave and make it a resting place for him and ease his questioning. Ameen.
