On the morning of September 10th, Joe woke up at 2 AM with the worst headache of his life. We rushed him to the emergency room, where he was diagnosed with meningitis and pneumonia. Your prayers and some very compassionate, skilled doctors and nurses saved Joe’s life. Since that night, Joe has been in the hospital on the bumpy road to recovery.

Over the past month, Joe’s recovery has taken many twists and turns including kidney failure, requiring him to undergo dialysis. He now faces surgery to repair a cerebral spinal fluid leak. This has been an incredibly challenging time for our family, and we are doing everything we can to support him through his recovery.

Many friends and family have reached out, asking how they can help. While we have always been hesitant to ask for assistance, the mounting medical bills and the reality that Joe won’t be able to work for a while have made it necessary.
