Over the weekend I had to take Tori to the ER. They rushed her into surgery from there on Sunday morning. Last Wednesday she had a colonoscopy and the doc put a pretty gnarly hole in her colon. Her appendix attached to that hole and kind of blocked it off, which turned out to be a blessing, but they had to remove her appendix and part of her colon, and give her a colostomy bag which she'll live with for the next few months. She'll be in the hospital for the next few days at least. We'll head home and have a home nurse for a bit until we get used to the bag. It was pretty invasive given the emergency status so she'll have a pretty lengthy recovery time but things are progressing. That being said, I will not be able to return to work as soon as I’d like. Given our down time due to covid at Christmas and a costly custody battle we have nearly depleted the little savings we had. I lease my semi and the payments and medical bills are continuing to accrue. I hate to ask but we could use a little help to get over the hump until I can get the truck back on the road. Any little bit helps and we would both be eternally grateful and pay it forward as soon as we can. Thank you for taking the time to read this. Much love to you all.
