As some of you may already know, my baby sister is celebrating the fact that she is now breast cancer free. Her double mastectomy was successful, but life is continuing to throw overwhelming trials at her and I am asking for your help.
At this time we are not sure if her original surgery will be covered and her second surgery for reconstruction which is scheduled for January 16, 2020, will have a large amount of coinsurance. She has also used all of her work leave time with the first surgery, incurring loss of wages then and with this upcoming second round.
Shelly is a single parent of three minor girls and the sole provider of her household. She has always had a positive attitude regarding anything life has thrown at her, however, she is deeply concerned about her financial future and her ability to pay her medical bills as well as household expenses. She is reluctant to ask for assistance herself, so I am humbly asking for your help through this GoFundMe page.
A donation of any amount would be greatly appreciated. These monies will go directly toward her medical bills as well as household expenses until she is back on her feet.
