Help Dylan pursue his acting dreams

For those of you that know Dylan, you know how much energy he has.  He loves showing off and making people laugh.  We're always trying to find activities for him to put all that energy to good use.  A couple months ago, Dylan heard a commercial on the radio for acting auditions so we tried it.  Out of the 200+ people who auditioned, Dylan was 1 of 30 called back the next day to enroll in the acting course.  Since July, he has been attending classes every few weeks to write his acting resume, memorize lines, perform in front of an audience and learn valuable presentation skills. 

Today, marking the end of the course, all students performed in front of 4 talent agents.  Unexpectedly, Dylan was one of the highest scoring students and was invited to go to LA to participate in iPOP in January 2016 where he will take additional acting classes and meet with talent agents from all over the world.  I wish I had taken a video of him when the agent told him he had been selected.  I've never seen him as excited as he was today.  His smile was ear-to-ear and his happiness was contagious. 

As with many things in life, there is a cost associated with Dylan attending iPOP - course fees, lodging, airfare, transportation and food.   I wish we could afford to do this on our own but the unfortunate reality is that we cannot.  He has been told by industry professionals that he has what it takes to succeed as an actor and he has shown his high level of commitment by how much effort he put into the class.  I wouldn't be the mother I am if I didn't try every option possible to help Dylan go after his dreams.
