Tom Brown Medical & Living Expenses
Donation protected
Hello everyone, my name is Lorrie and I would like to thank you for taking the time to stop and read about my brother, Tom Brown. Tom was born with a birth defect called Craniosynostosis (he was born without having a soft spot in his skull, allowing his brain to grow and form his head). He underwent 3 major head surgery at 2 weeks old, at 18 months old and again at 3 years old by Dr. E. Carl Hann at Methodist Children's Pavilion. He was finally brought home on Christmas Eve morning with 265 stitches across his tiny head.
Recently, Tom noticed a few lumps in his neck and had biopsies taken. He was diagnosed with Lymphoma on Friday, August 14th. On Tuesday, August 18th, Tom had surgery to remove his lymph nodes. He seemed to be doing well in recovery and was able to leave to our parents home to be cared for yet again by our amazing parents. That evening Tom suffered a seizure and was taken by ambulance to St. Francis. Not only will he be following up with his ENT doctor and his Oncologist for his treatment plan, but now he has to see a Neurologist in late September. He has been restricted from driving and is taking anti seizure meds and can not drive. He has been employed as a Semi Truck driver for years and can no longer drive. Tom has lost his income and needs as much help as possible to get him through this. He will fight this battle with the love and support from all of his family & friends. Please help by donating any amount that you can to help pay his medical expenses and living expenses. Thank you very much for all your love & support. ~ Lorrie Garrigus, Tom's favorite sister.
