Help Support the Phillips Family

My name is Dwight Wolfe. I am originally from Nova Scotia and I am in awe of the devastation from the forest fires currently happening in my native province. I work for a hockey organization that helps hockey players fulfill their full potential in their sport. One of the young players we advise, Owen Phillips, OF THE HALIFAX MOOSEHEADS has just lost his home in Tantallon, Nova Scotia. The Phillips family, Sean, Holly, Owen and Joel only had moments to leave their house as the flames were making their way to their front lawn. The Phillips were only able to gather a few personal items before having to evacuate. Unfortunately, they have lost their home and all of their belongings in the fire.

My goal is to help the Phillips family in any possible way and this why I’m reaching out to all of you. I would encourage you to join me in helping and supporting this courageous family. They are currently staying with family, but this is just a temporary solution. With the lack of housing in Halifax and the surroundings, I am trying to help raise money to pay for a place for them to live OVER THE COMING MONTHS AND TO COVER THE BURDEN OF OUT OF POCKET EXPENSES AS THEY REBUILD THEIR HOME. They will have to PURCHASE new essentials, such as clothing, sports equipment, school supplies, etc.
