Jay's Sandbar Foodboat Has Capsized

Hey guys. This is your hostess Coulette...the one who is always taking your orders.

As you probably have heard from us and the news as of 12:30 this afternoon on Mother's Day while we were in full lunch swing Jay was delivering food. A wake from a passing boat hit us on our starboard side and sheared off our starboard outrigger.
Those outriggers keep the boat level. She immediately started to roll and capsized within 60 seconds.

We were barely able to get off as she flipped and thankfully no lives were lost. Jay, as you can imagine, has taken this pretty hard.

We tried to get insurance from the start. We contacted over 35 companies and were informed that all food boats are uninsurable.....we brought food out there anyways

The boat is a total loss, unfixable and the structure collapsed so I am doing my best to help. This was our livelihood and we love bringing you guys the very best food that we can create with the highest standards.

Unfortunately as Jay said, "Poseidon took wrath upon us." Our first step is to remove her from the beautiful sandbar where she was a happy fixture for 4 years. The cost for this removal will probably run around $8,000.00 to $10,000.00 alone before we even can start to rebuild a new boat.

4 years ago that foodboat costs $75,000.00 to build. The first $8,000.00 or so will be used to remove the boat. Anything additional will be used for the building of the new foodboat.
If we don't reach our goal, any money after the salvage will be refunded and we will still have the memories and the good times out there with all of our Sandbar family.

Any help whatsoever even pocket change would be greatly appreciated.
