South Essex Gymnastics Rhythmic Floor Replacement

We are looking to raise much-needed funds to replace our Rhythmic 14mX14m Carpet.

Our Rhythmic gymnasts have competed at multiple English and British Championships, bringing home numerous medals and titles over the years, putting South Essex Gymnastics Club firmly on the Rhythmic scene.

South Essex prides itself on obtaining titles at a National level with highlights being Jade Woollard achieving 2 silvers and a bronze at this year's National Finals and Lily-Rose achieving scores within the top 10 in the country. In 2022 Ava came 10th in ribbon at the English Championships and 3rd in the National Finals while Pippa was 2nd overall and became hoop champion.

South Essex has had gymnasts on English and British squads for many years and in 2019 Rachel Lattimer represented England at international competitions.

In 2021, our Senior Rhythmic Group were members of the Great Britain Squad and trialled for the European Championships team which was in itself historic for the club as this has not been done before.

The club is also home to Katie O'Connor who competed in Disability Rhythmic Championships up and down the country, bringing home over 30 National titles over the years making her one of the most decorated British Disability gymnasts.

The club carpet is in much need of repair with rips and scuffs which have been patched up over the years but is now in need of a full replacement.

We are looking for £7000 to cover the cost of this carpet.
