Yesterday (12/15/2021) the neighbors dog broke into Cheyenne’s yard and attacked strider, and went after her other dog pippin. Strider sacrificed himself for his brother pippin saving pip but ultimately putting himself in danger. The neighbors dog has left strider in critical condition, Cheyenne and her husband need help with money to help save his life as the neighbors are refusing to talk with them or take any accountability (yes police report is being filed right now striders life is their number one concern). Striders in great hands but he has several punctures, his chest cavity was wide open, he right ear may have to be removed, several leg wounds and openings, punctures on his back near his kidneys, a rib fracture right side, and a lot of tissue trauma. The vets are estimating it will be 3-4 surgeries before he is out of the woods.
