Help Naomi Recover

Donation protected
Naomi was at home preparing for the holidays with her family on the afternoon of December 12 when she experienced a stroke caused by a brain aneurysm. She was immediately taken by ambulance to the local hospital where she underwent multiple surgeries to stop the bleeding and the related swelling. Naomi 's condition stabilized after the procedures, and after three weeks in the intensive care unit, Naomi was transferred to a regular hospital room to begin receiving therapy to help her recover use of her body. She has now been transferred to a special rehabilitation facility in Honolulu where her recovery will continue over the coming months.

The Naomi that we all know and love is energetic, spirited, strong-willed, motivated, and loving and we believe that she will achieve a full recovery. She is a wonderful daughter, wife, mother and also a wonderful friend to so many around the world. Naomi has committed her entire career to the protection of marine mammals and ocean conservation both locally, nationally, and internationally.

This fundraiser is needed to help support Naomi’s current medical bills, future care costs, and any other expenses that occur during her long road to recovery. The beneficiary for this GoFundMe will be Naomi's husband, Darryn McIntosh.  Donations will be used to cover healthcare costs.

Naomi’s family (including her loving husband, mother, daughter and son) is staying strong while she recovers and they ask for your continued prayers during this difficult time. Thank you for any support you can offer.
