Medical Expenses for the Hyde Family

Many of you know my friend Jeremy Hyde. Jeremy is the Executive Pastor at the church I work at and one of my closest friends in the world. Some of you might be aware of this, but Jeremy had a brain resection surgery this past June, where they removed 6 centimeters from his brain in order to help cure his epilepsy. He had another brain surgery/test in May, along with numerous tests and procedures leading up to the resection surgery, one of which required 5 days in the hospital. In the midst of all this, he also had surgery on a herniated disc in his back this Spring. As a result, the out of pocket expenses for the Hyde family the past two years has been astronomical. Their out-of-pocket medical expenses over the past two years have been $17,800 (insurance max out-of-pocket: $8,900 annually).


I am reaching out to all of you to help put as big of a dent in this number as possible. With currently being a one household income, one car, and limited childcare options, anything can help. I am asking you to help Jeremy and Bethany, who are like a brother and sister to me and so many others.
