Hi everyone, my father in law Kevin recently had a MCA stroke and was air lifted to Houston,Tx. He is still currently in Memorial Herman Hospital. Unfortunately, he is unable to walk, talk or even swallow. The stroke caused brain damage on almost the entire left side of his brain. Before his stroke he was going through a workers comp situation and was out of work receiving partial pay. Since his stroke happened, workers comp is now talking about suspending his case and pay all together. As you can imagine Kevin has a long road ahead of him. We aren’t sure what the future holds but what we are sure of is that GOD is bigger than any problem or diagnoses any doctor can give. Kevin’s wife, Crystal is going to need to be with him as he recovers so she will be unable to work. Medical bills are quickly building and Kevin also doesn’t have insurance. As hard as it is to ask for help in these types of situations, sometimes there is no other choice. Kevin and Crystal have a great support system and Brad and I as well as other family and friends will do as much as we can. We have started the process for disability & SSI but they have told us this can take 2-3 months. If you aren’t able to give financially please keep the BECHTHOLD family in your prayers and on your prayer chains. The progress he has made has been good and we know it was because of answered prayers. Please keep them coming. Thank you for all the calls and text to check on him.
