Hello community of helpers: My name is Alexis Eynon and I am raising funds on behalf of my dear friend Freya Farley. In April 2026 Freya was diagnosed with Stage III cervical cancer and she is being treated at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore. About one month after finding out this shocking news, Freya's husband Mitch abruptly lost his job, which included their sole means of income and health benefits.

Mitch has done an incredible job navigating all manner of hurdles and within a matter of days managed to get Freya health insurance coverage while starting to look for work (he is an architect). In the meantime, they are renting an apartment in Baltimore to be close to treatment (they live on the Eastern Shore in MD).

Freya is a giver and deeply spiritual person with a career in the wellness space focused on primarily helping women. She is our Gentle Warrior: compassionate, strong, and kind. Mitch and Freya are an unstoppable force together, and despite the ongoing challenges life has thrown at them they continue to push forward with optimism and hope. The prognosis is very promising.

This fund is needed to bridge the gap for them while they face unemployment and increased bills due to treatment (travel, treatment, rent, etc.). If you can, please consider helping these incredible humans while they get back on their feet and Freya continues her journey back to full recovery.
