Donate to help Peyden with the loss of Ace.

Hi, my name is Michael Iwanowski, I’m raising money to help support my niece Peyden with expenses after the loss of her FFA Steer (Ace) for the Manatee County Fair Livestock show and auction in January 2023.

Saturday, November 19th Ace passed away at a Prospect Show at the Manatee County Fairgrounds. While at the show Ace got severe bloat from a blockage in his rumen and due to the blockage they weren’t able to pass a stomach tube or medication before he passed.

Peyden is in the FFA program at Parrish Community Highschool, and was very dedicated to Ace. Spending countless hours, feeding, working, grooming, and just spending time with Ace. She was funding this project from the proceeds of last years steer sale at the Manatee County Fair, and raising a show steer isn’t cheap. I have no doubt with the hard work, dedication, and placement in multiple livestock shows with Ace over the last several months she had a very good shot at Grand Champion this year.

With that being said, if I had to guess based on the last few years of being livestock buyer at the Fair. She was looking at a final weigh in of 1400-1500+ lbs and a sale price of $5-6 per lb. Which these proceeds would reimburse expenses for this and and fund next years steer for the 2023-2024 school year.

Unfortunately that is no longer possible, and he will not be filling the freezer of any amazing Manatee County residents or supporters of the FFA and 4H programs. Thank you all for your help and support, every dollar and share helps get her started back for next year.
