Hello everyone,
My daughter Serina was diagnosed with Leukemia when she was 5 years old and had to get a bone marrow transplant. She went through chemotherapy and radiation which ultimately defeated cancer! She has been in remission for 6 years now and was doing fine until recently when she started to get a lot of bloody noses, headaches, sores in her mouth and not feeling well. We took her to see her primary doctor to get answers and found out that her platelet counts having been dropping. They drew more blood and did more test, and we were told they will get back to us with results.
Yesterday after 2 weeks from that appointment my wife got the call that no parent wants to get. She was told that our daughter only has 2% left of her bone marrow and that we have to go back to Seattle for another transplant.
No child deserves to go through this, but unfortunately Serina has to. Now we have to travel to Seattle, hope they find a match and that her body excepts her new bone marrow.
I am raising money because we will be in Seattle for 3+ months and my wife and I will be out of work to be by our daughters side so that our little warrior gets through this tough time. We need help with expenses, bills, rent, and car payments. If you can help out in making a donation and sharing it with your network I would greatly appreciate it. I know that money can be tight, so please know that even $5 helps me get closer to my goal. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask.
Thank you,
Ray
