Hello everyone,

I am Mindee, Lou's stepdaughter from his first marriage. He helped raise me from when I was a few months old until I was around 9 when he got divorced. He still was an active parent until he met his current wife, Elle, when I was around 10 1/2.

We recently reconnected just prior to his cancer diagnosis and just had a wonderful fundraiser for him at the only place he calls his home away from home, the Elks.

I would love to throw another benefit for him, but as a surprise. I would like to pose it just as a band coming in to play at the Elks and just make it an "80's themed party" since the band is an 80's themed "tribute to a generation band." Their fee for playing is $1500, so that is the goal to raise, and then all ticket sales and donations would be going to our dad (Amy, of course) for medical/monthly bills while he is fighting the diagnosis.

I am hoping to continue to keep raising as much as possible so there is absolutely no stress on him or Elle so he can put all his mental strength into this fight.
