Hey guys, my name is Josh.

On October 25th, I’m running 80 kilometres in the Bondi to Manly Ultra Marathon — to raise money for IV vitamin infusions for people who are sick, going through treatment, and struggling.

I’m doing this because I know firsthand how important those infusions can be.

My dad had stomach cancer, which meant he couldn’t eat or drink. In just three months, he lost over 40 kilos.

There were times I watched him fall over just walking from the bed to the bathroom because he was so malnourished.

I still remember waiting 10 hours in the emergency department before he could finally get an IV drip.

It wasn’t until the final few weeks we found someone doing mobile IV therapy — like my fiancée Belle does now. It cost over $400 per drip, and we paid it without question. But I know not everyone can.

So Belle and I have teamed up to give back.

We’ve stripped the drips back to cost price, which means every $250 raised = one IV drip for someone who needs it.

My goal is $12,500, which will fund 50 drips — 50 people who’ll get the care they deserve.
