Ndalu Village Water Borehole Project

Tax deductible
We at Thirst No More Corporation (TNMC) are aggressively raising money to complete a water borehole installation in Ndalu Village located in the Democratic Republic of Congo. This borehole will provide running water for a village community of around 500 people.  At the present time, villagers have to walk many miles to get access to water.  This can be very time consuming and even dangerous in some cases because of the terrain. The water borehole is essentially a way to provide a clean water supply to a central location in the community.

We have budgeted $5,000 for this initiative and have so far raised $2,000. We are in need of an additional $3,000 before we can proceed with providing the survey, the generator, the 5000 gallon water tank, the water pump and the labor. We have targeted May 30, 2014 as the deadline for raising the funds.  TNMC's president, Lewis McIlwain (Mac) will be arriving in the Congo in late August to provide photographs of the new borehole.  It is estimated once drilling begins to find a water supply, the remaining installation should only take 2 days to complete.

Thank you for partnering with us on this great effort to provide life sustaining water to this village community.
