Fundraiser For Frankie
Donation protected
I don't often reach out for help but when its a for a loved one, I'll do anything!
Which is exactly what Meaghan is doing right now for her baby, Frankie.
Frankie started feeling off a few days ago so Meaghan brought her to the vet. What we all thought was gonna be a little puppy gastro at worst, turned out to be the first leg in Frank's biggest race yet!
The story her blood work was telling, wasn't very positive:
-Extremely deficient red blood cell count
-Platelets are super low
-Her little body isn't producing regenerative cells
The prognosis given was bleak and Meaghan was sent home with an ultrasound appointment for Monday (this was on Friday) and some steroids to help the dog get through the weekend.
In the middle of the night that night Meaghan felt Frankie getting worse so she took her to the emergency vet hospital and their team helped Meaghan decide what to do for the pup.
Basically, with non - invasive and very humane testing, we can find out if it's one of these three possible outcomes:
-An auto immune disorder
-An infection
-A tumor
Two outta three of those possibilities means she gets treatment and continues to have a great quality of life for the the rest of her time with us.
So because there is a chance that these tests can help us determine that she doesn't need to die, Meaghan handed Frankie over to the doctors and nurses at the emergency hospital and we are now at home hoping for the best.
So here is where I need your help. If you've been following me, you might know that Meaghan is the love of my life and our dogs are everything to us. I know that in these moments, finances are not the same as they were pre-covid but if all my friends and followers were to donate even 5$ ... the bill to help Frankie's fight will be covered NO-PROBLEM.
So If you know me, Dallas, Meaghan, and Frankie, you'll know that your donation is going to help figure out the mystery of whats going on and possibly save one of the sweetest little fur babies I've ever known. Please help us give her the best fighting chance <3
