Dear Friends and Supporters,
We are a team of five dedicated students from Hanze University of Applied Sciences, currently pursuing a minor in Medialism. With the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz approaching next year, we are deeply committed to creating a powerful documentary that highlights the historical significance of this event—and for this, we need your help!
Our goal is to produce a meaningful and impactful film that reflects on the profound importance of Auschwitz’s history. As young individuals, we feel a strong responsibility to preserve the lessons of the Holocaust for future generations. Sadly, we believe that events like Auschwitz are no longer discussed as much as they should be. This documentary aims to reengage today’s audience and serve as a lasting reminder of the importance of remembrance.
To bring this project to life, we need your support. The funds we raise will cover essential expenses, such as:
- A private tour of the Auschwitz concentration camp to gain in-depth knowledge and insights.
- Permission to film at Auschwitz.
- Travel costs for our team.
- Translation services from Polish to English.
- Access to archival materials.
- Other necessary production expenses.
If, with your support, we successfully raise the necessary funds to travel to Auschwitz and film on-site, the documentary will premiere at the end of January 2025 at the Forum in Groningen, The Netherlands.
Your contribution, no matter the size, will play a vital role in the success of this documentary. With your help, we can ensure that the stories of Auschwitz continue to be shared, reminding us all of our responsibility to prevent such atrocities from ever happening again.
Thank you very much for your support.
