This summer, Blackwood Stars Rugby Club plans to renovate their current clubhouse. The club has provided rugby to hundreds of people throughout its 104-year history. The club provides the residents of Blackwood with a venue for a variety of events and serves as a social hub for non-playing members.
The proposals seek to ensure the club's long-term viability and the advantages of a flourishing neighbourhood sports club for upcoming generations of Blackwood residents. Blackwood Stars hope that many of you will have fond recollections of your time playing for them or visiting the Club House and be inclined to contribute financially to help towards financing these planned renovations.
Therefore, I am taking on the challenge starting 1st March walking 80 Miles to replicate 80 minutes of a game of rugby throughout March to try and raise £400 towards the renovations for this worthy club.
I will be out most weekday evenings at 5.30pm if anyone would like to join me. I will be sharing a link for the funding page shortly for anyone who would like to make a donation.
As always please can you wish me luck and fine weather. Thank You
