"Support The Emily Collins School: A Beacon of Hope for Vulnerable Children
Inspired by Emily's courageous battle with bone cancer, our Father's House Ministries is constructing a kindergarten/elementary school in her honour to rescue vulnerable children from the streets. Despite facing her own health challenges, Emily's determination to help others led her to volunteer in Uganda, where she worked helping children on the streets alongside Martin Duhimbaze a local social worker. Martin went on to found Our Father’s House Ministries, a charity registered in Uganda but recognised internationally.
Her legacy lives on through the sponsorship of over 220 children in Rukungiri and Kisoro and the building of this school. Today, The Emily Collins School stands as a beacon of hope, for the 70+ children attending and many more aspiring to join when they can find a sponsor, ongoing construction seeks to provide further refuge and education for those vulnerable children in dire need.
Your support can help fulfil Martin's and Emily's vision and make a lasting impact on children's lives. And, although the ground floor is operating 5 classrooms, Martin and his team still require at least another £250k to complete the construction. .
We are committed to supporting Martin in realising the vision he and Emily passionately discussed – to provide orphaned and vulnerable children with a chance at life away from the streets and fields.
Please join us in helping them achieve this goal.
