DEBRA UK is a national charity and support organisation for people living with the incredibly painful genetic skin blistering condition, epidermolysis bullosa (EB). It causes the skin to blister and tear at the slightest touch. With skin as fragile as a butterfly’s wings, it’s often referred to as ‘butterfly skin’. DEBRA UK exists to provide care and support to improve quality of life for people living with EB, and to fund pioneering research to find effective treatments and, ultimately cure(s) for EB.
Our ‘BE the difference for EB’ appeal aims to raise £5m by the end of 2024 to provide enhanced care and support for today, and effective drug treatments for all types of EB tomorrow.

We are very excited to involve our community in our latest fundraising initiative - 80 Days Global - a unique virtual journey across the globe! We will be provided with interactive routes, so we can forge our own path across land and sea in search of adventure. We have 80 days to complete the challenge!
We hope you agree, 80 Days Global, is a great opportunity for us to come together to raise money and awareness for DEBRA UK, whilst embracing a healthy and active lifestyle.
