This is the story of #Wyattthebrave....
Wyatt is the craziest fun-loving kid there is. He loves to make people laugh and always makes sure everyone is having fun. He loves to play all sports, and is very adventurous. Pretty much anything that sounds fun, Wyatt is game for.

A few weeks ago Wyatt started getting really bad headaches. They were so bad he would wake up in the night screaming. We took him in several times and were prescribed antibiotics over and over again. I knew something more serious was wrong so I took him to a good friend. He knew right away something was really wrong and got us into an amazing pediatrician. She got him in for an MRI right away. As soon as the MRI was done we got a call from the pediatrician who told us what we feared to be true. Wyatt had a tumor in the back of his brain. We were shocked and scared. Wyatt and I were then rushed down to the ER where we were prepped to be life-flighted to Children's Primary Hospital in Salt Lake City. When we got there it was pretty much chaos. They gave Wyatt some medicine to make him comfortable for the night and told me surgery would be first thing in the morning. My husband Cody got our two other kids situated and then drove through the night to be with us. March 24th was the longest day of our lives. Wyatt's surgery lasted 8 hours. Wyatt's surgeon did an amazing job and got the whole tumor out. Unfortunately the tumor was cancerous. Wyatt was in the PICU for 24 hours, and then was moved to the neuro floor, where he stayed for 6 days. After the 6 days we were able to take the long drive home. We were able to be home for a week and then headed back to Salt Lake for more tests and appointments. Wyatt will start his radiation treatment in Salt Lake on April 23rd. Wyatt and I will move there for 7 weeks. This will be very hard for our family, but we are doing what is best for Wyatt. We are hoping to fly home for a weekend somewhere in the middle just so we can be together for a short time. Thank you for going on this journey with us. Thank you to everyone for all of your thoughts and prayers.
