Help Jobe Clean Up Winstanley for the Winstanley Warriors U9s!
Hi everyone! My son, who plays for the Winstanley Warriors U9s, has decided to launch a community project to give back to our local area while supporting his teammates. For the next 8 weeks, he has committed to at least "One Bag a Week" challenge. Aiming for 2-3 each week.
Every week, he will be out in Winstanley, specifically focusing on Blundells Wood and the surrounding Winstanley area, picking up litter and filling at least one full bin bag to help keep our community clean and safe.
Why he is Raising Funds
He is taking on this 8-week challenge to raise money for a match camera for the Winstanley Warriors U9s.
The goal is to be able to record the team's games so that footage and goals can be shared with all the players' families. Not every parent or grandparent can make it to the sidelines every week, and having this camera will mean that no one has to miss out on the team's highlights and progress. It’s a great way to bring all the families together and celebrate the hard work of these young players.
How You Can Help
We would be so grateful for any donations to support his litter-picking marathon. Your contribution helps him reach his goal for the team while making Winstanley a cleaner, better place for everyone.
We will be posting weekly updates here with photos of his progress and the bags of litter he collects!
Thank you so much for supporting Jobe and the Winstanley Warriors U9s!
