Hello, our 8 month old kitten Orla is a rescue stray from Romania and needs serious medical help. We adopted Orla and her brother Rafael in January 2026-both loving and sweet kittens. Since adoption we have gone through extensive medical exams and care to cure previous cases of worms, feline chlamydia, and respiratory infections. We thought they were both finally healthy and settled into their new lives.

Recently, Orla became very lethargic, began to sleep all day, and lost interest in food or play. After a few days of this worrying behavior, we took her to the vet to discover a large mass in her intestine. We also learned Orla is anemic-unable to produce the blood cells necessary against infections and diseases. The vet explained that this mass was blocking her organs causing fever, nausea, and severe pain. The vet stated the cause of the mass could either be lymphoma or FIP (feline infectious peritonitis). Both of these are serious and can be fatal.

We are asking for your help to treat our kitten in these expensive vet bills and medication we will need for Orlas health. Although we are currently waiting for blood results to determine what Orlas mass is, we anticipate more high-cost medication and vet follow-ups in our future.

Orla and her brother are our world and our little family. We love our kittens greatly and intend to use the fullest extent of care to ensure Orla lives a long and healthy life.
