8 Marathons in 7 days in memory of Henry Foster.

Good Evening All,

 

as many of you may already know, our dear and beloved friend Henry Sean "Foz" Foster sadly passed away in May of this year. To all those that knew Henry, his smile lit up every room and he touched the hearts of many- wherever his endeavours took him. I have decided to run 8 marathons in 7 days in July 2022 with all proceeds being split 80/20 between the Henry Foster Foundation and Prostate Cancer UK (Something which meant a lot to Henry). Henry was not only a great friend; he was a loving brother to Fran, son to Sean and Jo and a loving boyfriend to Hallie. Above all, he was a fantastic role model to his peers at Sedbergh, Hymers college and all those at Central Washington University in the US. His achievements on the sports field speak for themselves. There are hundreds of memories I could share but I'm not one for rambling on. If you happen to be reading this and donating is not your cup of tea, I would really appreciate any help with training, tips, nutrition or recovery etc. as I am not one for long distance running. With regards to my training, I will be doing most of it in Innsbruck, Austria (Uni). Furthermore, I would be more than happy to set up a Zoom meeting/Strava whatever it may be and run in parallel with people around the globe (regardless if you know me or not!). The week of the actual 8 Marathons will be confirmed at a later date but I will aim for the second week of July with one of the days being a double marathon (52 Miles/ 84km). I will do my best to get back to the UK and with that being said, anyone is welcome to run with me!!
