Underhill Family

A few months ago my brother-in-law went into the Dr. and was told he needed a hernia operation, and he went for this routine operation. When he returned to the Dr. for his checkup a few weeks later , he spoke to the Dr. about some pain and they did a scan. This scan found a large mass on his liver,  he was sent pretty quickly to Saskatoon where they have confirmed he has two masses and they may have originated from the lymph nodes.  His diagnosis at this point is stage 4 Lymphoma.

This is quite the shock to his family, and he has been off work now for a couple months. His wife and 16yr old son are dealing with the news  as well as can be expected at this time. Treatments have been expedited and he has started travelling to Saskatoon for them. At this point we don't know how many, how long or how often they will be scheduled for, just that they will be hitting back at this diagnosis with a pretty heavy barrage of treatments. 

This fundraiser is set up to help this family with travel and medical costs that are adding up quickly already as they are down to one income. All donations will go directly to the family.  Family and friends are working to help keep the Underhill acreage running and animals cared for. 

This family has lived in the Lashburn area for many years, always helping with local fundraisers and town events. Lynn has a business in Lashburn and Lynn and Rocky have been a great supporter of 4H, leading and running many events for the kids. Their son is busy in 4H, Karate, school volleyball, and Rugby.
