Over the past month, my father has been managing a series of medical complications that have kept him out of work. What began as a diverticulitis flare-up led to additional testing, and doctors recently discovered two abscesses on his colon. On Friday, he underwent surgery to remove the abscesses, and while the procedure went well, his recovery is expected to take 4–6 months.

During this time, my father will be unable to work, and the combination of medical bills, follow-up appointments, and regular monthly expenses has created a financial strain. We are organizing this GoFundMe to help support him as he focuses on his recovery.
