Hi, my name is Amanda M. Gonzales and for three years now I have been fighting stage 4 Colon Cancer at the Edinburg Renaissance Cancer Center. I have been through 4 surgeries since first being diagnosed at the age of 24 and I have been through countless rounds of chemotherapy in hopes of reaching remission. No such luck yet, my life has been placed on hold. After several recent visits to the ER and many exams I was informed that my cancer has spread to my kidneys and lungs and is still aggressively spreading. My oncologist is referring me to MD Anderson in Houston, TX immediately. My heart is set on becoming a patient there where I trust I will get the medical attention I desperately need. However, I alone cannot financially support this much needed transition. With your help I can soon begin to look forward to becoming the next cancer survivor.
