Hello!

Allow me to introduce our son, Maximus Boone Tomlinson! His name means Greatest Blessing, and that's truly what he is to us.

Not many of you know, but Max was born with a rare anorectal malformation called Imperforate Anus. He spent his first week of life in the PICU at Wolfsons, and had major surgery for a colostomy placement at 32 hours old. Since then, he's also had surgery for a tethered spinal chord.

Coming up next month, we have his most important surgery yet. It's called a PSARP surgery, and it is imperative for his future quality of life that it be done by a Colorectal Specialist. For this reason, we are traveling to Washington DC to have it done by a leading colorectal surgeon! In the next few months after his PSARP, we will need to travel back to DC to have the second part of his surgery done and his colostomy closed.

We were hoping not to do this, but we are asking for help to get us to DC. The hospital there helps with Lodging, so we are just looking for help with incidentals and rental car etc. Please reach out if you have any questions, and even if you aren't able to donate, please share far and wide and keep Maximus in your prayers.
