Treatment for Max
Max, the teacher. Many of you have either met him and have been personally impacted by his presence, wisdom, and infinite patience.
Many of you know he’s inspired my personal and professional growth over the last eight years, as well as that of friends, clients, students and at times, random strangers. He’s been my heart horse and the center of Equibliss psychotherapy, as well as the keeper of his herd, no matter where he’s been. His kind heart has been steadfast present for the most complex client stories and healing.
Well, last week he has struggled with severe pain in his back symptoms and today I found out that he has EPM. For horse owners, that’s a pretty horrific diagnosis to hear. Fortunately we’ve got a great vet and good friends to share tons of information about treatment. While it’s a scary neurological disease, we hope immediate treatment will prevent his health from declining. He will start treatment tomorrow.
while this is not an easy ask, if you can spare some funds, no amount is too small.
Truly, I cannot imagine this work without him and I’m sure many of my clients and friends would agree. Thank you for reading and considersharing our story.
thanks a bunch,
Ioana, Max and Snuggles
