Caring For Cody

Our 29 year old son, Cody Andersen, has been diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) that affects the blood and bone marrow (immune system).  Cody is a very positive and energetic person that is always there to help others out but is reluctant to ever ask for help. Cody will be in Vancouver initially for 6 months to a year for  his treatment (chemo and possible bone marrow transplant) so he really needs our help and support. Vancouver is an expensive city to live in and he will be unable to work along with the expensive medications can be overwhelming.  Donations are greatly appreciated to assist Cody while he conquers this illness.  He remains positive, is staying strong and has a very good chance at beating this given his age and general overall great health.  He  wants to thank everyone for their generous support.
