helping my baby

Hi. Before anyone says “you’re begging for money” please read. me and christian went to his parents house for dinner and we left the girls out when we usually put them in their kennels while we leave. we have a small bottle of ibuprofen 200mg each and it was high on the counter in no reach. no matter what my dogs have never tried to mess with meds or anything. but still of course i keep them in a drawer or high up on the counter. my cats jumped on the counter and was playing with the bottle and it fell on the ground. it rattled as most medicine bottles do and my babies love toys they have so many of them. honey had grabbed the bottle and ate the entire bottle of ibuprofen. when we came home my dogs of course jumped on us so excited we’re home, i saw all my cushions were messed up bc usually when honey jumps on the couch she’s a big baby and the cushions fall or get crooked so i picked them up, i saw the bottle of ibuprofen on the floor and it was completely gone. i started hyperventilating and me and christian checked everywhere for pills. as we saw both of my dogs were okay but i immediately jumped to making them both vomit. maggie didn’t vomit maggie is okay she didn’t get into anything. honey threw up about 20 minutes later after i gave her a tiny bit of mustard to help her vomit. it was orange colored so we instantly started calling our family bc vets are closed near us the nearest emergency vet is 1 hour and 5 minutes away. after 15 minutes since her first vomit she threw up 5-6 times and she was limp on the floor foaming and breathing hard and wouldn’t wake up. i was shaking her and holding her and screaming and crying. christian picked her up my friends had towels ready in the car for her to lay in and when christian picked her up she was so limp it’s the most traumatizing thing. our family said we did everything right the vet said we were doing great with making her vomit bc if we didn’t do that instantly she would have died before we got to the vet. we drove as quick as possible with the hazards on all the way to the vet as we monitored her heart rate and breathing bc she wasn’t conscious. i just want to remind everyone right now this was NO one’s fault. my cats got up to where it was and was playing with stuff on the counter and knocked it which they NEVER usually do. we got to the vet they got her back and we waited. they told us they were worried for her neurological status and her kidneys etc. they were gonna pump her stomach but that would only get rid of 78% and they didn’t recommend it bc we already got her to vomit a lot. so they recommended a plasma transfer but it’s $7000. before anyone says “i thought you made money” i do make good money i could afford that, but that would mean i would get evicted bc i wouldn’t be able to pay for my rent, my other bills etc i would fall completely behind. i already paid $1200 for her to stay overnight so she can get fluids and lipids etc and be monitored. we are on the way to get her right now they said she looks good but ibuprofen works slowly so they said it’s a very high chance of her declining over the next few days. all i want is for my baby to be okay and i got denied monthly payments for her so i have to pay in full. so the only thing i can do bc i can’t afford to do the plasma transfer all i can do is to monitor her and pray she’ll be okay, but she’s very high risk. so the plasma transfer is gold for her. i’m not begging anyone to help but anything helps. once again this is NO one’s fault. things happen so quickly and dogs will get into anything. my animals are all picky so they never get into anything but i STILL ALWAYS keep things put up and cleaned up. but honeys not picky so we always have to watch her bc she’s not afraid to grab anything. once again you do not have to help. but it would really help the stress and you would be helping us save our baby. please do not send any back lash bc this was no one’s fault. and we are doing as much as we can putting as much money as we can into this baby to save her life bc she’s is like my child. i care more about my animals than anything i wish you guys understood i don’t call them my dogs i call them my babies, my children anything bc that’s what they are to me. please do not send any hate thinking we are bad animal parents bc we are very on top of our animals care and loving them this happened so unexpectedly. thank you again we love you guys. share or even $1 helps. literally anything. and let me know what i can do to repay you guys. bc this is hurting my heart asking for help bc i could pay for it but i don’t have any of that money at all on me right now and it wouldn’t be for a couple of weeks i would have that money and she wouldn’t make it til then. as i just paid rent, my braces money, groceries, animals stuff, $1200 for her staying overnight, etc. so i would fall completely behind on everything and it would just be so less stressful if anyone could help. once again thank you so much.
