Hi, my name is Kyle Ocampo and recently my life took a crazy 180-degree turn. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve become more reclusive, but I’ve last resorted to asking for help as I’ve fallen behind on bills.
I went to the ER on September 26, 2025, after a company picnic due to stomach pains. Doctors found a golf ball-sized mass on my intestine, and I was told that it would be a quick and easy procedure. But once I was on the table, they also found an infection on my sigmoid colon that needed to be handled. I woke up three days later to a huge incision in the middle of my stomach as well as an ileostomy bag directly next to the incision where they removed the tumor.
While being hospitalized for three weeks, I was also let go from my company, making things even harder. I hate having to ask for help, but anything helps. Thank you to anyone and everyone who’s taken the time to read my story.
