I heart Sacred Heart
At Sacred Heart school it is our mission to provide all our students of diverse cultures and abilities an education of excellence. Field trips give the students an opportunity to see the world other than where they live and have a hands-on experience with concepts many of them only read about in books. Most of my students have never left their home town and I want to give them the gift of exploration and continue their love for learning.
I am a 5th grade teacher at Sacred Heart and I am trying to raise $1,300 to take my class to the Kennedy Space Center. The $1,300 is the total cost just for the bus we will need to take there and back. Since many of my students come to school on scholarship, it is difficult for them to pay almost $80 for the entire trip including addmission.
We would need the total amount by the end of April. May 1st is the deadline...!
Your donation, no matter the amount, would mean so much to my students! They are an amazing group of kids who work so hard despite the fact that many face challenges at home that may be obstacles in their path to success at school.
