Hi everyone!! My name is Kobe. A couple weeks ago my Dad took me for a routine checkup and the Doctor thought my tummy didn't feel quite right so she took an X-ray. There was a fist sized lump in my abdomen. I came back a week later for an ultrasound. We were hoping the lump was attached to the spleen so we could do an easy-peasy splenectomy but it looked to be attached to my liver, with an extra little bump on my spleen. This was worrisome for us. Today we went to talk to an amazing surgeon up in Santa Cruz, and we got great news! He feels he can remove the tumor with a tiny bit of my liver with high confidence that I'll make a full recovery.  We can get the surgery as soon as possible, with help from you!! I'm just a little guy so a giant lump in my tummy is painful and is slowing me down. My Mommy and Daddy think the world of me and hope this surgery will add extra years to my life.
