HELP SHAWN BEAT CANCER

After a year of difficult medical procedures, in January of this year, my amazing brother in-law, Shawn had met with his physician for a yearly check-up. His doctor discovered something suspicious and immediately referred him to an oncologist. What they ultimately discovered through bloodwork and biopsies were two malignant tumors. He recently had one very large tumor removed. He developed a superbug infection and has been in and out of the ER for the last four weeks. He just recently was released from a three day hospital stay because of this complication. Shawn needs a second surgery but has had to put that off because of the current complications. He has been unable to work throughout this journey and his energy level has been really low. Thankfully, his best buddy, Titan, has been by his side, never complaining about the shortage of long walks.

Shawn is a man filled with love, of his family, friends, and his best four legged buddy, Titan. He is always one of the first people to jump in and help others; whether he has known them for decades, or just met them in the Walmart parking lot because they needed a jump start.

He has been an on-air personality in radio for most of his life (since he was 17), and currently runs an online station, SF70s, (a fantastic station playing songs from the 70's). He has listeners all around the world. Over 150 countries to date. His joy really comes from interacting with his listeners and putting a smile on their faces. His laughter is infectious!!

Shawn has donated his time helping others raise funds for many others with life changing emergencies over the years. He has worked closely with the Cancer Society, and with non-profits aiding victims of domestic violence.

As you know, insurance does not nearly cover the cost incurred when fighting any serious medical issues. Not only are you left with copays, deductibles, prescriptions and other noncovered medical necessities, you find yourself running out of savings with no income! And, then there is food, rent, and utilities.
