Support Jonathan's Journey to Recovery

Hello,

We are trying to raise some funding for my son Jonathan who suffered a stroke, that resulted in rhabdomyleosis, that caused liver and kidney damage. Although his liver since then is starting to come down , he did go into kidney failure and had to be put on dialysis. They had just put in a perm stint in his chest which we are hoping may come out in 3 months however it looks like dialysis will likely continue everyday and his kidneys are still not doing well. He will soon be moved to a rehabilitation center lasting anywhere from 7 days - 3 weeks which brings us to where we are today. Insurance will not cover all of the time for the rehab. He had been working and due to this set back and on going physical therapy of the right arm which he is still unable to move, along with his mobility and dialysis daily we are hoping to just raise some funds to assist with any extra rehab that is not covered, along with post release housing and transportation to and from dialysis until he is able to go back to his job. To be totally transparent, we are working on getting his fmla and short term disability but all this takes time, and we’re just trying to get him some help with his post release plan, once we know when that will happen.
