Last month Jennie was diagnosed Plasmacytoma a cancerous mass on her femur.  The treatment plan was to perform surgery on her femur,  to have raditaion and then eventually undergo chemo.  A few weeks ago she had surgery to help stabilize her femur bone by placing a plate and multiple screws into her bone. Her recovery from surgery had been slow but steady.

Last week, what seemed to be a straight forward diagnosis, turned more complaicated. Jennifer recived a call from her oncologist that they had found more masses on her skeletal scans. Jennifer's Plasmacytoma diagnosis was incorrect.   When she went into Dana Farber she was given the news that her cancer was now Multiple Myeloma a much more complex cancer.

Multiple Myeloma is a cancer that affects the plasma cells inside your bone marrow. There is no current cure for Multiple Myeloma but it is treatable. The course of treatment consists of raditaion, chemothreapy and possibly stem cell treatment.  Her immune system will be compromised and her upcoming battle will be a tough one! 

The road ahead is long and Jennie needs our support! With two young kids, countless medical bills and other unforeseen expenses her and Billy can use whatever help we can give them. I thank you in advance for your love and suppport!
