New Wheelchair

I don’t normally ask for help, and I am generally a self sufficient person, however in this case I do need help.
As a manual wheelchair user for the past 27 years I am in need of an motorized wheelchair. I have funds for the chair, but I need some help with an enhanced option that my insurance refuses to pay for. They claim it is “not necessary”, but once I explain to you how it is necessary you may understand my need for help.
My video shows that the seat raises and it is this option I would like to get. This will help me out with the challenges I face on an everyday basis. To show you what I am up against I ask you to do this exercise. Take one of your kitchen chairs and put it next to your refrigerator, sink, stove, oven or kitchen cabinets. If you choose get your duster and go to a room that needs cleaning. You there yet? Now sit in it...here’s the challenge, without standing do what you would do normally at your area you chose. If you find yourself cheating get a belt and belt yourself to your chair. I’ll give you a few moments to get your task done......... do dee do do, do dee do .......how did you do? Now picture yourself in that chair all day, and having to look up to carry on conversations .
By being able to rise an additional 12 inches, it will help me in my environment, and my dependency on my family will decrease considerably. I would be able to get dishes out of the cupboard. Able to see what I am cooking on the stove and able to get to the oven. I won’t give myself a bath while I’m doing the dishes. I’ll even be able to get food out of the refrigerator. I would be able to do a thorough, downstairs, dusting, from the tops of the windows to the baseboards.
So so it is a matter of my mental health and self esteem to ask for your help with my “unnecessary “ option.
Thank you for your consideration.
